Besides the orders of the almighty God for noticing the sky, the light of the stars, invisible waves of cosmic bodies and even the reflection of light by the planets, have a big part in life on Earth.

In designing the cities, there has been no attention to the angle of view of the people to that part of the sky; and this has become a matter to produce more pollution tools for the natural dark sky.

This kind of pollution has less influence on the modern human mind; because unlike the other pollutions, we don’t feel it very much. This kind of pollution has two kinds of effect on the nature of Earth: direct effect and indirect effect.

According to the growing amount of this kind of pollution, research and study on this pollution and finding a way to fight with this kind of pollution and stopping it from growing is a fact at this time.

Also the city programmers like lawgivers, administrators, directors, designers and manufacturers of lightning tools and also the consumers have no information on this fact and don’t respond on fighting against this pollution.

So for saving the dark sky and its effects on the life of humans and use of its attractions and also approach of the research centers that are working on this field; the Astronomical Research Center (A.R.C.), is on to put an International Conference to attract the minds of all levels of people to this important fact.

Conference Location:
Isfahan is one of the biggest and historical cities of Iran, which has world wide popularity. This city is located in a semi-desert place at the center of Iran and next to Zayandeh Rood.
Isfahan is based on historical researches and has historical places like the Silk mounts, which are located at 4Km from Bakhtar Shahr of Kashan, which is one of the first places that Human Being has lived there.
Isfahan has placed a collection of Islamic Architectural in itself that belongs to the 2nd to 12th Hejri century.
Shin of china, Barcelona of Spain, Saint Petersburg of Russia, Havana of Cuba, Iravan of Armenia, Fryeburg of Germany, Lahore of Pakistan, Kuwait of Kuwait, Florence of Italy, Iyasi of Hungary, Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia and Istanbul of Turkey are all sisters in law against Isfahan.
Isfahan has been the cultural capital city of the world of Islam in the year 2006; it also has taken part in attendance of the 38th Olympiad of Physics in the year 2007 with the participation of 76 countries.
After the researches done for establishment of the Iran National Observatory, the high places located at the boundaries between Isfahan and Qom, it has been recognized as the best place for establishing the National Observatory.
According to the points of this city mentioned above, establishing this conference in Isfahan makes a good view for personalities and people to come and attend in this conference and makes it have better proof and results.

Time of the Conference:
Autumn of 1387 according to good weather, work and touristy occasions, that is the main programs of the conference.
Its obvious that the exact time of the conference will be decided in future programs.
